This Contiki fam just had their 50(!) year reunion

To display us that their experience was not just about moist tents and chilly showers, Carol kindly questioned her team to explain to us their personal highlights of the trip. Right here are a few of our faves:

“Catching the teach up the Jungfrau, Switzerland, which is known as “The Best of Europe” and snowboarding at the major of the Lauterbrunnen-Murren Mountain Railway.”

Hey, that does audio quite magnificent. Possibly that is why we however do it these days!

“Driving our Contiki Purple Van around the Monte Carlo Formula 1 circuit itself, and having to see Jackie Stewart, the renowned British racing driver’s, car.  We were being also equipped to wander close to the Pits and ogle the astounding F1 cars and experience a little of the large lifetime of a Grand Prix.  Most likely could not wander the Pits now…”

Uhh, yeah…this seems amazing to be sincere, but I’m not confident F1 would give us this variety of access these days. So except if a Contiki driver goes really rogue, I’m scared this is not going to be on an any itineraries subsequent calendar year.

“Pyjama Working day.  We all participated in putting on our PJ’s for the journey working day into Kavala, Greece.  We were being to make sure we experienced our ‘under garments’ on although!  The seems to be we were presented, by the locals, when we would all disembarked from our little purple Contiki van in PJ’s was so hilarious!”

Really like it. And Carol, you will be content to know we’re retaining the fancy gown magic likely! Some matters never ever change….
